Trio Zadig was founded by three young musicians sharing the same passion for chamber music.
In May 2015, Trio Zadig won the First prize of the European competition “Fnapec Musiques d’Ensemble”, as well as the festival d’Uzerche and the ProQuartet special prizes. In July 2015, the trio won the First Prize and public prize of the International Gaetano Zinetti competition. The Zadig Trio was also awarded the “Chamber Music Prize” at the ISA festival in Austria, the third Prize of the International Salieri-Zinetti competition, the Prize of the ProMusicis competition and the 2nd Prize of the Fischoff competition in the USA. Most recently they were awarded the grand prize from the Ravel Academy.
Trio Zadig was invited to play for ORF radio in Vienna as well as Gaëlle le Gallic’s radio programme on France Musique. Trio Zadig has had the opportunity to receive advice and coaching from great artists such as Patrice Fontanarosa, Andre Watts, Ivry Gitlis, Hatto Bayerle, Gunter Pichler, Avo Kouyoumjan, Paul Katz, Heime Müller, Gary Hoffman, and the Wanderer Trio.
Trio Zadig is currently in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels studying with the Artemis Quartet, while benefiting from coaching from Miguel Da Silva (Ysaÿe Quartet) and Itamar Golan in Paris. In 2016, the Trio Zadig was laureate of the Banque Populaire foundation and also became resident at ProQuartet.
