Juuso Nieminen – guitar

Juuso Nieminen rose quickly to top of the young Finnish guitarist generation after winning the competition of the guitar festival in Tammisaari in 1998. Besides solo guitar studies at Sibelius Academy, Nieminen has studied singing and conducting and familiarized himself with different music styles such as Piazzolla and Russian gypsy music.

Nieminen is known from his virtuosity and thus gained lots of attention by winning many international guitar competitions. Nieminen has won e.g. the Alhambra competition in Spain in 2006 and Heinsberg competition in Germany in 2005. Nieminen has performed as a soloist in all over the Europe e.g. in Spain, Germany, Italy, Greece and Norway.
